The Massachusetts Association of Realtors (a.k.a. MAR) released their May 2009 housing market data a couple weeks ago.
The statewide numbers for May break down as follows:

The month over month increases in Massachusetts homes sales and median prices continue and we can definitely see it in the amount of business we have! The pending sales data (homes that haven’t closed yet) is increasing month-to-month as well with 4,802 single-family homes put under agreement in May as opposed to 4,480 in April. Condos put under agreement were also up with 2,025 units in May compared to the 1,878 in April.
